Goal:
The organization E-Malaya e.V. aims at supporting
education and computer
training for disadvantaged young people in the Himalayas
by building computer
laboratories and developing computer learning programs.
In the future we aim at developing corporate
citizenship and corporate
volunteering programs as a fruitful cooperation between
future oriented
companies and Himalayan schools.

Our Patron:
Matthieu Ricard, Buddhist monk,
photographer, French translator of H.H. the Dalai
Lama, previously molecular biologist at Institut Pasteur,
lives in Kathmandu and
leads development projects in Tibet -he incarnates a cultural,
social and spiritual bridge.
As an enthusiastic IT- user he kindly accepted to support
the E-Malaya project with his well appreciated and recognized
name.
Team:
E-Malaya e.V., officially registered in July 2003 at the court
of Hamburg in Germany,
acts as a charitable free-tax organization. In order to preserve
flexibility, efficiency and
transparency the team remains limited to
7 members and relies on a qualified
network of education, IT, finance controlling, marketing
and sales professionals.
